Sehrish and Shehzad’s incredible Asian wedding reception at Grand Connaught Rooms was truly a night to remember!

Earlier in the day I had photographed their church wedding in East London. Then we went to the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden for the huge Asian wedding reception. Indeed it’s a beautiful venue with a history dating back to 1775. Especially the Georgian architecture and art-deco interior which made for a stunning space to photograph in.

Together with a striking couple, the venue was just perfect! Firstly the bride dazzled in an elegant Pronovias wedding dress. Further her makeup was by the super talented Melissa Sophia, whom I’ve worked with before and highly recommend. Also her hair was by the very creative Ami Cass.

The setup at the Grand Connaught Rooms was just amazing. As can be seen, it has a very regal look and the décor was perfectly suited for an Asian wedding reception.

Despite the hectic day, we managed to squeeze in some elegant bridal portraits and couple photos. Once I had Sehrish in front of the camera, she was a dream to photograph.

Also the couple photos were so easy because they had such great chemistry between them!

Later in the evening, the couple changed into more traditional Asian wedding outfits for their Grand Connaught Rooms reception.

You could say the party was enjoyed by all the guests! Everyone had a great time at the Grand Connaught Rooms.
